Spot 1600W Electric Radiant Heater
No Aggressive Red Light - Produces
a very ambient modest light
HEATSCOPE® Spot radiant heaters produce a subtle orange glow which is only 30-40% of the light output of the traditional radiant heaters. The reduced light output is due to the use of a color matching grill screen in front of the satin surface carbon heating elements that can be either a black or white. They are midwave radiant heaters that produce heat almost instantly (less than 15 seconds) and are ideal for providing heat to outdoor areas such as partially open patios or balconies.

Key Features
Efficiency made simple
HEATSCOPE® is committed to efficiency! All VISION, SPOT and PURE radiant heaters were developed in accordance with the newest findings concerning the mid-wave IR range. This means that between 90% and 94% of the energy used is turned directly into ambient heat.
Real infrared
All HEATSCOPE® design radiant heaters produce natural infrared heat in the (fast) mid-wave IR range. This means that the heat feels particularly pleasant and is effective exactly where it is needed – that’s directly under the first layers of skin, but not too deep in the tissue.
Inviting & cosy
Other radiant heaters use light tubes to produce heat as a by-product – at HEATSCOPE® we exclusively use innovative carbon technology: two carbon spirals are powered with an electric current, they begin to glow and produce a particularly pleasant warmth.
Super fast
Output peaks are a thing of the past with HEATSCOPE® power heaters. Although the heaters start up slowly, they reach 100% in no time: the range of SPOT models take only 15 seconds, and the VISION & PURE range takes a maximum of 30 seconds owing to the glass front.
Full control
The separate model ranges are either delivered with their own IR remote control or with a 4-wire cable for integration into an external control system (output dependent).
Award-winning design
Delivers pleasant heat without the distraction. Clean-cut, modern designs and colours easily blend into any decor.
Weather-resistant
All models are certified with an IP rating for protection against dust, splash-water, and wind.
No aggressive red light
Produces a very ambient, modest light based on double carbon heating elements.
High efficiency
Up to 94% of the energy used is turned into ambient heat and transferred directly to nearby people and surfaces for maximum efficiency.

Coverage Area
This graphic shows the heating performance of Heatscope Spot 1600W heaters. Please note that the heat output always depends on a wide range of factors.
They include: Installation environment (indoors or outdoors, enclosed or open, wind-protected or wind-prone), installation height, radiation angles, weather, voltage fluctuations, etc.
Please consider all these factors in your planning.
*All values are approximate. Max. temperature increases achievable in enclosed spaces at 16 °C (dependent on the respective installation conditions and mounting height).Construction

View AllHow do I replace the carbon element fibres of my HEATSCOPE® heater?
Changing the carbon fibre elements of the HEATSCOPE® heater must not be done by yourself. You will need to engage a licensed electrician to perform the service.
How do I clean my HEATSCOPE® heater?
To clean the appliance, you will need to disconnect the radiant heater from the power supply at least 1 hour after operation. Make sure the heating elements are not glowing anymore before you do this. To wipe off any dirt or dust to the exterior housing, only use a soft damp cloth.
Can I install the HEATSCOPE® heater in my bathroom?
The heater must not be installed in rooms where there is high humidity (bathroom, spa, etc) or in close vicinity to bathtubs, showers or pools.
What type of infrared waves are produced by other heaters available in the market?
Other infrared heaters work with short waves, and produce heavy red light with an unnatural, uncomfortable heat.
Why are carbon fibres better than other heating elements?
The carbon fibre elements used on HEATSCOPE® heaters have a lifespan of at least 10,000 operating hours - this is much longer to tungsten, halogen light tubes or quartz elements used in other heating systems. Also they produce immediate and comfortable heat when and where you need it.
Where is the power cable of the infrared heater located?
For Vision and Spot models, the power cable is located on the side of the appliance. Pure is equipped with a cable latch for ease of installation.
Why is HEATSCOPE® heater better than other outdoor electric heaters?
All HEATSCOPE® heaters are manufactured in Germany with state-of-the-art technology, and they combine the best in design and heating efficiency. The warmth you feel from a HEATSCOPE® radiant heater is much more comfortable and less harsh on your skin due to the reduced light. This means your home is using a greener and smarter heater with guaranteed quality for years to come.
How does the remote control work?
The remote control has 2 buttons so you can choose to turn on/off each carbon heating element individually for 50% or 100% heat. Alternatively, you can use your smartphone or tablet as remote control via the eWeLink app.
